Tara and Nathan were married at Blue Ridge Vineyard in Eagle Rock, VA on November 2. Tara looked stunning in an A-line flowy chiffon gown complete with a lace shawl and her soft wavy hair parted to one side. She carried a fall bouquet of hypericum berries, roses, and wildflowers, tied with plum-colored ribbon and lace. Her ‘maids opted for mix-and-match plum dresses, while the groom and his men wore black suits complete with festive fall ties. The pair exchanged vows in front of just 80 friends and family members under a pergola on the vineyard lawn on a beautiful fall day. “Our long-time family friends own Blue Ridge Vineyard and we were lucky to have [our wedding] there – it was a stunning backdrop,” Tara said of the venue. A rustic-inspired reception followed on the patio, where guests sat at wooden tables covered in tan linens and accented with gold plates and plum napkins. Each table featured a mason jar centerpiece containing tree branches and bird seed favors. “Rustic, natural, low key,” Tara said about the event. “We wanted it to be about the people we love. A good crowd makes for a good event.” Dessert consisted of cannolis, homemade by the bride’s grandmother and aunt, which was nod to the bride’s heritage. Guests danced the night away and had a memorable evening. Tara was extremely grateful or her friends and family. “This entire event could not have happened without the help of friends and family. That’s also what made it so special for Nate and I.” See the full board here.
