Taia and Tyler were married at the Museum of the City of New York in New York, NY on October 4. The bride looked gorgeous in a more casual get-up complete with a knee-length silk dress, a white cardigan, and blue lace peep-toe heels. Her hair was done in a single braid and adorned with white flowers. She carried a colorful bouquet of purple dinner plate dahlias, disianthus, and bupleurum. The groom looked dapper in a dark blue suit with a purple neck tie. The pair tied the knot in front of 80 guests in the garden at the museum. “We really wanted to have a small wedding of only our closest friends and family,” Taia said. Close friends of the couple officiated the ceremony and incorporated other loved ones as well. A reception followed inside which featured twinkling lights throughout the space. “Our focus was on having good food and drinks in a comfortable environment,” Taia said of the reception. The tables featured red floral arrangements and votive candles. The bride’s best advice? “Don’t make your own invitations unless you are having fewer than 50 people!” See the full board here.
